Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Fireside Learning app ("Fireside," "the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account on behalf of a child, you agree to these terms on both your own behalf and on behalf of your child.

Description of Service

Fireside is an educational app that teaches life skills — including focus, resilience, and character — to children ages 8-12 through story-driven audio lessons and illustrations. The app requires a subscription for full access.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One parent account may manage one or more child profiles. Children cannot create accounts independently.

Subscriptions & Payments

• Fireside offers monthly and annual subscription plans.
• New subscribers may receive a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
• All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not directly handle payment information.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

Free Content

The first lesson in each learning pathway is available without a subscription. All other content requires an active subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app's content
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality

Intellectual Property

All content in Fireside — including lessons, stories, illustrations, audio, and the app's design — is owned by Fireside Learning and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without written permission.

Disclaimer

Fireside is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate, high-quality educational content, we do not guarantee specific educational outcomes. Fireside is a supplement to, not a replacement for, formal education or professional guidance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fireside Learning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
